Sustainability is a priority at Labelexpo Americas 2024.
ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES
At Labelexpo Americas 2024, sustainability is a priority. This year, we are implementing the following eco-friendly practices on the show floor:
- Building and disassembling stands will now be environmentally friendly with electric forklifts
- Newspaper, glass, plastics and wood that are generated through the show will be recycled
- Lighting throughout the show is energy-efficient
- The show carpet is fully re-used, repurposed and will be recycled after the show
Catering Services
- Nearly half the catering menu is plant-forward, vegan or vegetarian
- All cups used at the venue are fully recyclable - and many are also compostable
- Any surplus food will be donated to local food banks
Label Waste Sustainability Initiative
With the help of TLMI, Convergen Energy is partnering with Labelexpo Americas and Rosemont Exposition Services to divert any label byproduct materials from being sent to landfill. We are encouraging all exhibitors to schedule their waste removal through RES to have it collected by Convergen.
Instead of waste going to landfill, Convergen can convert many materials into feedstocks to replace fossil fuels for power plants, industrial facilities and other energy-intensive institutions.
