If you weren’t in the label industry, what would be your dream career?
I think I would have enjoyed being Minnie Mouse at Disneyland. I love the innocence of young children!
What are your hobbies or interests in your free time?
I spend a lot of time with my grandchildren, love going to Angel Baseball games, and have started to travel more.
How has the industry changed in the past five years?
At my shop, we have experienced smaller order sizes but more orders, and demands for quicker turn times.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Treat every person you meet as if they are your largest customer. You never know where the next biggest-customer-ever will come from!
What is the biggest challenge facing the industry?
For us it is experienced pressmen, whether on press or in finishing. We are often constrained by a lack of quality personnel.
