Bruce Ruppert is a Manager of Product Development at UPM Raflatac Americas. He has been with UPM Raflatac for 8 years and in the label converting industry for over 30 years. During his career, he has held roles in product development, quality, process, technical services, and marketing.

Ruppert has qualified many liner types used in the pressure-sensitive label industry including: PK liners, SCK liners, Glassine, CCK liners and PET liners.

In addition, he has extensive knowledge of silicone coating and silicone systems, including thermal cured 100% solid, ultraviolet, solvent and emulsion. His has experience running significant volumes of label material on both “in-line” (Tandem Coating) and “off-line” silicone coating operations.
