Part of the third generation of ownership at Yerecic Label, Elizabeth Yerecic Freedman leads Sales & Sustainability efforts at the company and also oversees the purchasing, estimating, R&D and bill of materials departments. With a passion for product design, Elizabeth launched theSustainLabel!® product suite introducing the first printed pressure sensitive label applied to PET to be recognized by the Association of Plastic Recycler’s Preferred Design Recognition program. Elizabeth has spearheaded Design for Recycling research and championed the implementation of an internal lab for research into this topic at Yerecic Label. Within the Fresh Food industry, Elizabeth is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Annual Meat Conference and is also active at the International Deli Dairy & Bakery Association, as well as the Food Marketing Institute’s Fresh Food Leadership Council.
