Jules Lejeune graduated from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, with a specialisation in international economic affairs. After a few years as management trainee and analyst at a medium sized merchant bank in Amsterdam, he joined Lejeune Association Management in 1990.

In 2002, he took over the company, which his father Mans founded in 1964. Lejeune and his office hold responsibility for a number of associations related to the labels and packaging, converting technology and recycling sectors, both at the Dutch national and international level.

In 1998, Jules succeeded his father as Secretary-General and later Managing Director of FINAT.

Jules Lejeune is married, with 3 children. He has been a national league field hockey player but nowadays is a passionate supporter of the next generation, of which one has meanwhile joined the company at the beginning of 2022.
