Introducing Sol BCK™

Sappi, announces Sol BCK a new release liner for visual communications, industrial applications, and adhesive tape products at Labelexpo Americas 2024. This release liner delivers an improved carbon footprint by eliminating plastic coating, better recyclability by saving plastic material, and significant cost savings compared with PCK-based release liner. Sol BCK reduces the CO2 footprint by more than 50 percent by avoiding the use of plastic PE, and boasts significantly better recyclability compared to PCK. Sappi uses a special coating layer which improves the flatness of the self-adhesive laminate and simplifies processing. Visit Booth #457.

Sappi adds Wet Strength to Parade Label Portfolio

Sappi, a leader in packaging and speciality papers, expands its portfolio of wet-glue label papers with the new wet-strength, alkali-resistant Parade Label WS. Last year Sappi announced an investment in a state-of-the-art technical infrastructure to be able to produce wet-strength, alkali-resistant label papers in the future and to establish itself as a full-range supplier of label papers. New Parade Label WS is a wet-strength alkali-resistant label paper – a compliment to the Parade Label line and an expansion of the portfolio which delivers full coverage of customer needs.
