Epson-booth 5821

Epson will be showcasing its line of label and packaging solutions in booth #5821, with experts available to answer questions. From proof to press, Epson products have advanced printhead technology, ink, LED lamps, and color management, all designed and built by Epson.

Epson’s booth will feature the SurePress L-6534VW UV press available with digital varnish or orange ink. Digital varnish offers spot varnish, simulated foiling, and embossing all in line with the label production. Orange ink has a 92% PANTONE® coverage certification within Delta E of 1.5,1 using minimum colors to deliver maximum gamut. The L-6534VW models automate both maintenance and checking of the printheads during the production day without operator intervention. 

The SurePress L-4733AW water-based resin press builds on the success of its predecessor, one of the leading selling digital inkjet label presses, to deliver low-cost white ink label printing, ideal for food production packaging including PS labels, IML, shrink, and candy wrappers.

Epson will also showcase its line of P-, R- and S-Series printers for proofing, prototyping and large size label production up to 63 inches wide, as well as its ColorWorks color inkjet desktop label printers that handle on-demand jobs in tough production line environments.
 

Grafotronic-booth 3128

Grafotronics HAPTIC DIGITAL, powered by the Domino, delivers outstanding results and reliability thanks to the full integration of the most robust inkjet technology available. This new module delivers a seamless application of specialty finishes, it can be used for digital spot varnish or for a full range of foil effects, including metallic foiling, hologram application and tactile finishes. It is compatible with many different substrates offering maximum flexibility.

Grafotronic HAPTIC DIGITAL represents greater efficiency and simplicity in embellishing labels, thanks to a rapid a start-up time and reduced operator intervention whilst Dominos I-TECH Cleaning and Capping Technologies provide investment protection. The module decorative finishing processes with minimal waste and without the need for tooling like printing plates or screens significantly reduces production time and costs.

The HAPTIC DIGITAL offers unique advantages in the production of labels for: food and beverage, cosmetics, chemical, pharmaceutical and tech sectors – especially for short run work. Digital cold foiling is also used to enhance brand protection with anti-counterfeiting features.

Thanks to Grafotronic’s 100% modular concept the HAPTIC DIGITAL module has been designed for rapid integration and retrofitting and can be combined with any of Grafotronic’s DCL2 modules.

Konika Minolta-booth 5803

Konica Minolta is reinventing the digital label market, and will be showcasing a full line of labeling presses at Booth 5803, including the brand new AccurioLabel 400, the AccurioLabel 230 and the GM DC330 Mini.

Together with Konica Minolta’s label presses, the GM DC330 Mini provides an end-to end digital label print and finishing solution. A technology preview of the PKG-1300 full-color digital packaging press will also be part of the exhibit.

Virtual product demos and samples will be available for Konica Minolta’s MGI JETvarnish 3D Web.

This digital web-fed solution allows label printers to go digital for 2D/3D spot UV coating and 3D embossed hot foiling without dies, screens or expensive tooling, delivering exceptional value with greater customization and personalization to the industry. 

Konica Minolta will unveil the AccurioLabel 400 five-color label press for the first time in the U.S.

Important new developments include the ability to expand applications with white toner, extended job opportunities with press runs up to 3000m, improved productivity with superfast print speeds of up to 130 feet per minute, and further running cost reductions thanks to even more durable parts life, as well as enhanced print quality.

Mark Andy is showcasing a broad range of digital label presses from entry-level roll-to-roll printing to a sophisticated 'True Digital Hybrid.'

Its newest digital press is configured as roll-to-roll with 5-colors CMYK and white and prints at speeds up to 130 ft/min.

The press has a flexo-only option with the unique ability of running left to right or right to left. Also at the show is the Digital Series iQ inkjet press built on Mark Andy's Evolution Series flexographic platform with award-winning web handling and digital integration.

Completing the digital lineup is the Digital Series HD UV inkjet press with four flexo units, in-line varnish and die-cutting. Mark Andy's new Production Monitoring and Analytics software, sMArt link, is also showcased.

Rotoflex equipment includes VSI and VLI inspection rewinders and the new AT4 quick-change turret rewinder.

The AT4 can be configured for in-line or off-line label finishing with auto core gluing and auto label closer as options.

Mark Andy Print Products (MAPP) supports all demos with materials such as Dupont plates, tesa tape, performance doctor blades, various cleaners, racks, and roll lifting equipment. Booth visitors will have a chance to win an anilox roll rack, roll lifter and discount coupons for press room needs.

Printing labels with great added value has never been so easy and fast thanks to DIGIFASTone, a digital finishing line based on the “FUTURA by Prati” technology that generates high precision and rapid set-up, on which the reflectors will be focused during Labelexpo Americas 2022. 

Completely digital, both in the finish and in the die-cutting, it allows you to enter the short-run market by producing promotional labels in the food & beverage, wine & spirits, cosmetics, personal care and home care sectors.

DIGIFASTone, with die cutting units and customized digital finishing groups such as tactile effects and textures, decorations and textures up to 130 μm, Braille and Marburg Medium printing for pharmaceutical products, is a very high-performance line, for the new generation of label finishing solutions in line with the requirements of Industry 4.0.

DIGIFASTone generates a very small amount of waste material, significantly reduces set-up times and guarantees a register accuracy of 0.15 mm, advantages that place the machine at the top of current standards.

Xeikon-booth 5703

Xeikon at booth 5703 features Xeikon CX300 dry toner press, that allows converters to produce FDA-certified labels and packaging. 

Xeikon also shows its PX3300 UV-IJ hybrid press for durable labels that can be die cut, trimmed, and rewound inline to maximize productivity.

The Uniform X-800 workflow is also shown. Xeikon is also participating in the Digital Embellishment show feature and the conference program.
